John Laing, program Founder, brings both his passion and his expertise to the court, helping you believe & achieve! With a background as a high school and college player and over 15 years of teaching experience to individuals with special needs of all ages and abilities, John received the city's St.Thomas Civic Award for Volunteering in 2018.

 

Brent Sifton is a coach and our program treasurer.  An avid competitive player during his teens, he has been an instructor for a number of years.  Brent finds volunteering his time with special needs athletes very fulfilling and rewarding.

Ron Spearman fell in love with tennis over 30 years ago and has been playing regularly ever since. He has obtained his OTA Level 2 certification. He has taught tennis to people of all ages & abilities through Loyalist College, London Life, and the North London Optimist Club. Ron has worked with special needs for many years in various capacities.

Matthew Dimbleby is our junior coach. Matthew brings high energy to the program and relates to our younger athletes.

Kim Spearman is an instructor and our program technology associate and photographer.
